Karina Buzzi

I am a curandeira in a line of curandeiras in Brasil. I plunge into the spiritual realm to evoke communication from the unconscious to the conscious mind. This exercise stretches into my artistic practice. Handling materials charged with personal meaning, alongside cameras, I put my body into performance to later study and manipulate what is recorded.
